Evaluation methods
Program evaluations
- Written exam
- Teaching evaluation
- Special project
WRITTEN EXAM: Students submit short summaries of each online learning module as they complete them. This fosters reflection, encourages deeper exploration, builds communication with mentors, and requires future instructors to articulate their thoughts. TEACHING EVALUATION: Students create a 15-minute video of themselves teaching a sequence they feel comfortable with. They may choose from provided options or design their own. After review, they receive a one-on-one feedback session with an instructor to identify opportunities for improvement and celebrate successes. SPECIAL PROJECT: To personalize learning, students select a health or wellness topic that inspires them and spend about 4 hours exploring it through reading, workshops, media, interviews, podcasts, expos, etc. They then submit a written or video reflection in any language, focusing on what they discovered.
