Style/Lineage

The Embodied Teacher is an integrative, Hatha-based yoga teacher training rooted in classical yogic philosophy and informed by Ayurveda, pranayama, the art of touch, meditation, and the eight-limbed path of yoga. Rather than adhering to a single modern yoga lineage, the program honors traditional teachings while integrating contemporary approaches to functional movement, anatomy, trauma-informed education, and inclusive teaching. Our methodology emphasizes embodiment, self-inquiry, experiential learning, and the development of an authentic teaching voice, preparing teachers to adapt yoga thoughtfully and ethically to diverse populations.
