Purpose

We aim to help teachers find their own voices with intelligence and awareness, giving them all of the competencies to build their own sequences from the ground up, to understand anatomy, making every shape and action intentional and accessible in all bodies, and to dip their toes into many limbs of this beautiful practice, giving them the building blocks of their own teaching style.

We are highly anatomy driven from a myofascial standpoint, and offer modules in philosophy, pranayama, yoga therapy, meditation, inclusivity, Ayurveda, the subtle body including chakras, nadis, vayus and koshas, the business of yoga and more.

What to expect

You can expect weekend modules (five hours on both Saturday and Sunday) every OTHER weekend, plus virtual two hour sessions on one weeknight (every other week). Students may join entirely virtually, entirely in-person, or as a hybrid of both; those seeking certification must be LIVE with the training (ie in person or on camera and interacting) for at least 15 of our 18 weekends together.

Students will also be assigned a mentor from within the training after our first weekend together, who will be your touchstone for the program, commenting on your homework and teaching, and offering two hours of private work throughout Sadhana to focus on anything their mentee needs.

You can also expect to learn in a supportive, caring and authentic environment, meeting and interacting with the others in your cohort on profound levels as you explore your own path.
