Philosophy That Transforms

Yoga isn’t just something we do, it’s something we live. Our lead instructors bring deep philosophical insight, making ancient texts and teachings relevant to your everyday life. Past students have shared stories of stronger relationships, healthier habits, and greater self-love.

Anatomy for Awareness

We teach functional, accessible anatomy—not just to memorize muscles, but to truly understand your body as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual. You'll learn how to keep your students (and yourself) safe, aware, and empowered in every posture.

Real-World Practice

From the very beginning, you'll practice teaching with peers and receive feedback from seasoned instructors.

Additional Information

Teaching Skills
  • Design a well-rounded class for a defined group of students, with a clear intention, logical progression toward a peak, counterposes, and an integrated relaxation and breath segment.
  • Analyze the foundations of a posture, distinguishing primary and secondary foundations and the transitions in and out, to identify where cueing should begin for safe alignment.
  • Demonstrate guiding a complete systematic relaxation and a short breath-awareness meditation, suitability for a mixed-level group, using a steady voice and pacing that allows students to settle fully.
  • Describe how a teacher observes students, offers variations, and adapts a lesson plan in the moment, explaining why sensitivity to the group guides these choices, examining how music, demonstration placement, and the teacher's own movement affect students' attention and emotional safety, identifying clear strengths and risks of each.
Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics
  • Identify the major body systems, including the skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and endocrine systems, naming the primary function of each accurately.
  • Identify the major sections of the spine and the positions of the pelvis, explaining how pelvic tilt influences spinal alignment in standing postures.
  • Explain how muscle tissue contracts and lengthens and what flexibility means at the level of joints and tissues, using accurate physiological terms.
  • Demonstrate the movement of the diaphragm and abdominal wall in postures such as crocodile and seated postures, describing what is happening anatomically with consistent accuracy.

  • Practice diaphragmatic breathing and pranayama techniques with proper technique and pacing, sustaining a steady, even rhythm throughout.
  • Practice systematic relaxation and seated meditation daily in a stable posture, maintaining a consistent time and place over a sustained period.
  • Identify the Sanskrit names of common postures, body parts, directions, and key practice terms, pronouncing each with reasonable accuracy.
Business Skills
  • Apply professional standards when representing one's qualifications and services to students and employers, ensuring every statement is honest and accurate.
Lifestyle & Ethics
  • List each yama and niyama with its Sanskrit name and meaning, accurately and in traditional order.
