Purpose
The purpose of this program is to broaden & deepen your knowledge of the practice of yoga, as well as expand your skills & confidence as a teacher, in the studio & in life.
What to expect
This in-person training allows you to dive deeper into the practice of yoga. We will branch out from the Sanctuary flow, using it as a base to explore other styles & techniques so that you can determine what & how you want to teach. We will practice incorporating different elements into teaching & you will strengthen & expand your skills as a teacher & leader.
For December 2025-December 2026, the tentative schedule through June 2026 includes full-day Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the following dates: December 13; January 3 and 17; February 14 and 28; March 14 and 28; April 11 and 25; May 9 and 30; and June 13 and 20. All dates are tentative and will be finalized on December 13, with additional workshop dates to be added.
Style/Lineage
At Sanctuary, we offer a strong, flow that is accessible to everyone - our power classes are vigorous as we move through Sun Salutations & poses, linking movement & breath. Our Flow & Slow classes are based on the same framework, but move more slowly. Classes are truly open to students of all levels & options for variations are always encouraged. While it is a very physical practice, there is always a focus on whole-being wellness: body, mind, heart spirit.
Additional Information
This training will require you to purchase several books & unlimited yoga at Sanctuary is included for the duration of the training.
