Purpose

This is so much more than teacher training. This training reveres Yoga as a life practice, far beyond what we do on our mats, to truly call you into your personal power & purpose in a way that honors nature and all beings everywhere. Our 200hr Certification is comprehensive and meets/exceeds the American Yoga Council standards. We are meeting the times and stepping up our curriculum to even further emphasize a Trauma Informed framework. Join skilled, experienced and embodied instructors for an amazing journey! Lead Teacher Sarah Woods, AYC CYT-L3, Trauma Informed expert Janine D’Anniballe Ph.D, and more!

What to expect

An experience beyond any other, this unique training provides smaller groups for more attention and intention as you live and learn your yoga practice… In this training, you will learn how to teach the ancient practice of Yoga from a trauma-informed framework to encourage a healing and embodied approach to the practice. The skills and tools learned from this training will be beneficial to teachers by creating a healing environment and decreasing the potential to cause unintended re-traumatization to students. Healing from trauma is possible and can be supported by our community by teaching from this trauma-informed lens.

Style/Lineage

This training goes above and beyond the basic 200 hour training. We unite all lineages of yoga with a Trauma Informed lens in honor of each being that walks through our doors. Our approach is Ahimsa and Satya in practice. Holding a compassionate space for each individual AND the ethics of traditional yoga.
