Purpose
Our 500 hours teacher training program will bring together the 200 hour and 300 hour programs. With a focus on the history of yoga, the Eight Limbs and how they apply to our lifestyle and teaching. We will apply yoga philosophy in our teaching and guide our soon to be students to develop a deeper awareness of yoga beyond the movement/asana. We will also aim to deliver mentoring one on ones to discuss what style is right each trainee.
What to expect
The 500 hour teachers will be able to meet and practice with a mentee to ensure they feel competent to share their love for yoga with a group class or in a private setting. The teaching and support will continue as long as we are willing and able to do so!
Style/Lineage
Maggie Grace studied under Pat Bruno, with a focus on Arhum Yoga and Kriya yoga and received her 1000 hour certification.
Pat's approach to teaching was to use correctives and conditioners. Breaking down the pose so the student learns why/the benefits and proper alignment with a no pain index. Hatha Yoga with a slow gentle approach so that each student can learn and develop their practice.
