Purpose
This immersion offers a comprehensive approach to cultivating a safe, meaningful, and transformative Yin Yoga practice in the studio or at home.
What to expect
Through experiential learning, discussion, and practice, participants will explore: the roots and philosophy of Yin Yoga; Yin anatomy, Yin postures, modifications and effective use of props; mindfulness and breathwork techniques; the yogic concepts of the gunas and koshas; and principles of intelligent sequencing. At the end of the training, students will be able to confidently and safely lead a Yin Yoga class and weave both philosophy and related subtle body practices into the practice.
Style/Lineage
This 25-hour Yin Yoga Immersion is designed for yoga teachers seeking to increase their yoga knowledge and offerings, as well as dedicated students who wish to deepen their understanding and personal practice. At the end of the training, students will be able to confidently and safely lead a Yin Yoga class and weave both philosophy and related subtle body practices into the practice.
