Purpose
This Hot 26 Immersion provides a strong foundation for teaching and practicing the traditional Hot 26 series with confidence, precision and safe awareness.
What to expect
Throughout the immersion, it is expected that students who want to receive feedback on teaching a final class will independently memorize the dialogue. Teacher support and audio recordings will be provided as needed and upon request. Upon completion, you will have the knowledge, practical teaching skills, and confidence to lead and practice a safe, accessible, and authentic Hot 26 class.
Style/Lineage
Throughout the immersion, you will learn Yoga anatomy, safety considerations and posture modifications for the 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, heat protocols, proper class timing, hot to incorporate strength training to support and enhance the Hot 26 practice, and how to "go beyond the dialogue" to effectively teach mixed level students with individual needs.
