Moving as medicine: synthesizing Hatha Yoga asana/pranayama/meditation practice with Ayurveda, classical acupuncture, aromatica, and depth psychology. Specializing in custom-tailored practices based on 1) vikruti (current assessment) and 2) relieving imprints of traumatic stress.

I am a grateful human, teacher, facilitator of healing, and scholar specializing in phenomenology, consciousness studies, and futurism. For the last 35 years I’ve had the great privilege of receiving transmission from remarkable seers and teachers worldwide. Through my travels I’ve assembled a multi-modal "medicine pouch" comprised of Yogic wisdom, Ayurvedic Medicine, Aromatic Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture, Chi Nei Tsang, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Thai Nad Bo Rarn, Usui Rei-ki, and Alchemical Healing. These healing traditions, along with my Master’s degrees in Trauma Counseling and Early Childhood Education, are uniquely woven into my yoga classes, clinical practice, and experiential trainings.

I am currently a doctoral candidate at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). My thesis is centered around Integral Dialogue™ - a communal practice I am co-developing that encourages listening for emergent information through presencing, embodying, and evolving integral consciousness. I am most interested in 1) the neurotheological implications of relational dynamics, 2) attuning to the invisible field of information that lives between and within us, and 3) amplifying the currency of connectedness within ourselves, each other, and the world.

My yoga classes reflect these interests. As I guide into movement and stillness, it's not unusual for me to offer a gentle inquiry into how our thoughts, movements, behavioral patterns, insights, or values are influenced by and/or expressed through our practice. I approach a yoga class as a self-study in the spirit of Sarvodaya - waking up together. Sometimes I include aromatic botanical medicines I create, anointing the body on acupuncture or marma points to aid in the discovery. I love teaching yoga with passion and purpose, co-creating conditions for alchemical shifts that catalyze personal and collective evolution.
