Kundalini-inspired Sparkle Yoga works with ancient yoga traditions while incorporating participants' creativity & novel approaches. Emphasis is on discovery & curiosity within one’s own body and spiritual path. Empower the divine teacher within with breath, movement and mantra.

Sparkleblaster Amelia has been practicing Kundalini yoga since 2018. She was first introduced to yoga in the late 90s in her home state of New York and she immediately integrated it into her spiritual practice. For Amelia, yoga is connecting to source, community, and divine love through mantra, meditation, breath, and movement.

In 2025, Amelia completed Yoga Farm Ithaca’s 200-hour Kundalini Warrior teacher training. At Yoga Farm Ithaca, she was introduced to a teaching style that is trauma informed and inclusive, one that always offers students options and choices and encourages self-empowerment. She aspires to hold the lantern for students to discover the teacher within.

Amelia is a certified death doula who hosts mediations on death and Inspired Dying workshops. She celebrates the ephemeral nature of life on planet Earth and her relationship with death informs her practice and teaching.

Amelia is a founding member of the Sparkle Souls art collective, a group committed to building community and inspiring change. Since its inception in 2015, Sparkle Souls has given voice to dozens of creators through open-mic-style public gatherings. Amelia collects the Sparkle Souls’ art into a quarterly publication, sparklezine.

In 2020, Amelia took the spiritual name sparkleblaster because she is committed to blasting all beings, our Earth, and the cosmos with sparkles through creative acts of art, magic, movement, voice, and service. She is grateful to be in community and for her connections with others.
