Bharati Carla Haynes is a yoga teacher, healer, and educator whose work bridges classical yogic traditions with embodied humanology and elemental practice. After completing her foundational training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers in 2011, she opened Garden of Healing Yoga & Wellness in New Jersey, where she has taught continuously for more than a decade.

Drawing from her background as a nurse, long-time bodywork therapist, and meditation practitioner, Bharati developed an approach to yoga that centers lived experience, nervous system resilience, intuitive coherence, and community well-being. Her teaching weaves Sivananda, Kundalini, and Elemental Kriya with strength-based nonviolent communication, offering students a grounded and accessible path to personal refinement and steady inner awareness.

Over 5,000 teaching hours and nearly 300 training hours have shaped her path as a teacher, healer, and mentor. Bharati is the founder of the Yoga Healing Consortium Institute (YHCI), where she trains teachers, healers, and service-driven leaders in conscious facilitation, somatic presence, and embodied yogic principles. Her programs support individuals in clarifying their intuition, strengthening their energetic stability, and cultivating the capacity to guide others with clarity and integrity.

Beyond the studio, Bharati has developed community wellness initiatives, school-based SEL programs, and sensory-based immersion experiences that blend light, sound, movement, and meditation to support nervous system regulation. She continues to teach, mentor, and create from the belief that every person is a vessel for healing—for themselves and for their community.
