Char Grossman, Founder and Director of YogaReach® is a highly trained, Internationally Certified Yoga Therapist and Nationally Certified Educational Specialist as a Psychologist and a Yoga Teacher. Having developed her individualized and dedicated instruction, Char created YogaReach® in 2004, a state-of-the-art business that provides adaptive therapeutic yoga classes, workshops and speaking engagements to those facing neurological and neuromuscular challenges. YogaReach has further expanded beginning in 2015, offering a set of Mindful Movement adaptive therapeutic yoga/movement classes at InMotion, a wellness center for those with PD in Beachwood, Ohio. She also leads highly targeted nation-wide Mindful Movement for Parkinson’s Disease Professional Training Programs. Char has witnessed both personally and in her teaching of thousands of students, the remarkable and life changing nature of adaptive therapeutic yoga. She has authored a diverse collection of a book chapter, for Sports, Exercise and Slowing Progression for Parkinson’s, blog posts, has been a panelist for Curetalks, a medical podcast, the Bran Grant Foundation, Together with Sharon Foundation and has been interviewed twice by The Huffington Post. Char continually integrates complementary tools that teach, “If you put your body and your mind together, you’ll see changes.”
