Aerial yoga

Christine first discovered aerial yoga in 2024 after years of driving past the Earth & Aerial Yoga studio at night and wondering what it was like to fly in the colorful silks she saw through the windows. Although she never considered herself particularly athletic before trying aerial, one class was all it took to get hooked.

What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion for aerial arts. Christine immersed herself in aerial hammock, sling, and silks, falling in love with challenging new poses, dynamic flips, and fluid sequences where one beautiful shape flows into the next. Her enthusiasm for movement and learning eventually led her to complete the Earth & Aerial Yoga Teacher Training program.

Outside of the studio, Christine works as a compounding pharmacist, where much of her day is spent counseling patients and doctors about medications and guiding patients through how to use them. She finds many similarities between her work and teaching aerial yoga, both of which involve helping people feel supported, capable, and cared for. After fast-paced and demanding workdays, aerial yoga has become an important outlet that allows her to unwind, get out of her head, and reconnect with herself through movement. Her teaching style reflects that balance of challenge and support, encouraging students to explore their strength, creativity, and confidence while having fun along the way.

When she’s not in the studio, Christine is usually reading, sewing clothing with fun prints, or finding her next favorite book—she regularly finishes more than 50 books a year!
