Bio

My name is Emma Sonzogni. I am originally from France and have been living in the United States for over 25 years. My background includes years of martial arts training, which instilled discipline, body awareness, and respect for mindful movement. I discovered yoga in 2012, and from my very first class, I recognized its profound impact on both my physical and mental well-being. Yoga quickly became an essential part of my life, supporting balance, presence, and inner calm.
In 2018, I completed a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training at World Peace Yoga in Cincinnati, deepening my understanding of yogic philosophy and intentional practice. I am a dedicated Yin and Yang yoga practitioner and instructor, with additional certifications in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, in Restorative Yoga, in Aerial Yoga, and YogaBarre. My holistic approach is further supported by my ongoing practices in meditation, Reiki, aromatherapy, and Qigong.
I currently teach several weekly classes at Quiet Mind Yoga in McAllen, Texas, offering Yin Yoga, Yin Yang Yoga Flow, and Yoga Meditation. My classes are thoughtfully designed to be accessible, grounding, and balanced, creating a supportive environment where students can move with intention, slow down, and reconnect. My goal is to guide students toward greater ease, resilience, and mindfulness, both on and off the mat.
