Geeta Iyengar (1944–2018) was a pioneering yoga teacher and the eldest daughter of B.K.S. Iyengar, who developed and spread Iyengar Yoga globally. She was instrumental in establishing Iyengar Yoga's therapeutic applications, particularly for women, authoring the foundational text Yoga: A Gem For Women. A lifelong practitioner, she also served as the director of the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune, India, alongside her brother Prashant S. Iyengar.
