June is an experienced yoga and Ayurveda educator and the owner and founder of Moondog Yoga in Quakertown, PA. With a background that includes a BS in Economics, an MBA in Marketing, and extensive training through the Himalayan Institute, she holds credentials such as E-RYT 500, Certified Vishoka Meditation Instructor (CVMT), Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS), and Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC). She is also trained in Unnata® Aerial Yoga, Level 1 Reiki, and 3WT Wellness Coaching, and serves as a certified 200-hour and 500-hour Yoga Teacher Trainer.
Before discovering yoga, June built a career in management, leadership, and teaching. She began practicing in 1996 to balance the demands of a fast-paced professional life and later relied on yoga to navigate the transitions of motherhood. Inspired by the profound transformation yoga brought to her own life, she felt called to share the practice with others and completed her 200- and 500-hour certifications through the Himalayan Institute Teacher Association.
June has been teaching since 2005 and currently leads the Himalayan Institute’s 200-hour and 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training programs, as well as Vishoka Meditation courses, at Moondog. Her alignment-based approach emphasizes accessibility, safety, and yoga as a healing art.
Her philosophy centers on the belief that yoga is for everyone. She feels deeply honored each time someone walks into the studio, grateful that they choose to spend their time in community and practice. Through Moondog, she has created a warm, supportive space where students are encouraged to explore their personal path with curiosity and compassion.
June loves spending time with her husband and two sons, considers her family her greatest accomplishment, and enjoys anything involving sun, sand, and trying new, joyful experiences.
