Functional strength-focused Hatha flow and engaging Kids Yoga. Specialized yoga teacher trainings blending movement and nutrition coming soon.
With over a decade of experience, Kathy view's the yoga mat as a space to nourish your body and allow your inner strength to flourish. Her teaching is built on the belief that a truly transformative practice requires a marriage of physical discipline and spiritual depth. While her classes are anchored in functional strength and unwavering balance, the postures are simply an entry point to the traditional 8 Limbs of Yoga.
By weaving together the ethical foundations of the Yamas and Niyamas, the calming bridge of Pranayama, and the internal quietude of Pratyahara, Kathy invites you to experience yoga as a complete moving meditation. For Kathy, this "inner work" is where the real magic happens—building the resilience and clarity you need to stay grounded, radiant, and fully integrated long after Savasana.
What to Expect in a class with Kathy:
Purposeful Strength: We don't just move for the sake of moving. We focus on alignment and stability, building the kind of strength that supports your joints and your longevity.
Cultivated Balance: Through slow, intentional transitions, we find equilibrium—not just on one leg, but in the nervous system. We practice finding our center amidst the challenge.
Beyond the Physical: Each class incorporates Pranayama (breathwork) and Dharana (concentration) to help pull your focus inward, moving past the distractions of the modern world.
Inner Work: We close every practice with space for reflection, allowing the "inner work" to settle so you leave the mat feeling integrated, clear-headed, and grounded.
