Dr. Kelli Sammis, a retired educational leader, 500-E RYT, and founder of The Bridge Yoga in Texas, has been practicing Yoga since the 1980s when she first learned about Gandhi and the path of Karma Yoga.
The Hatha Yoga classes that she teaches at her studio, the meditation sessions that she leads daily, and the curriculum she writes for the yoga courses she facilitates are all grounded in her own practice of Bhakti Yoga, mantra practice, and the lessons learned in her daily study of The Bhagavad Gita.
She is an Insight Timer Meditation Guide and has been leading Yoga Retreats (domestically and internationally) for several years. Her doctorate is in curriculum and supporting her in writing the curriculum for The Bridge Yoga’s 300hr yoga training called Mantra, Movement, and Meditation - a Journey through the Yogas of the Bhagavad Gita
Her yoga studio has grown into a dynamic Sangha of like-hearted humans, gathering together on the mat, on the cushion, and in community to continue learning how to live out and share the principles of compassion, equanimity, and loving-kindness in this 21st century world.
