My yoga journey began in 1984. A 200-hour certified teacher, I’ve studied anatomy and breath with Leslie Kaminoff, including hands-on human dissection. I’m completing restorative training with Judith Hanson Lasater and beginning 300-hour advanced training with Rachel Scott.
I am a passionate and certified yoga instructor whose journey with yoga began in 1984. Continuing education is an important part of my teaching. I studied yoga anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff, and in August 2026, I participated in an intensive hands-on human anatomy dissection experience with Leslie Kaminoff, Lauri Nemetz, Lydia Mann, and Gil Hedley at KNML Labs in Colorado Springs. This profound experience gave me the opportunity to study the human body beyond textbooks, illustrations, and models. Seeing and exploring human anatomy firsthand has further shaped the way I approach and teach anatomy, movement, and individuality—and deepened my appreciation for the remarkable uniqueness of every body.
I am also completing a year-long Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Judith Hanson Lasater and will continue my studies through an upcoming 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training with Rachel Scott. I believe being a good teacher means remaining a student—continuing to learn, question, explore, and allowing new understanding to inform the way I teach.
My teaching is grounded in presence, intuition, and a deep commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and sacred space where students feel supported in their own practice. I encourage curiosity, awareness, and exploration—helping students discover what movement, stillness, and breath feel like in their own unique bodies.
My classes weave alignment-based Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga with mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, and journaling. Beyond the mat, I am devoted to fostering community and well-being and creating spaces where people feel seen and nurtured.
