Yoga therapist and teacher with 20+ years’ experience. I combine yoga, movement, strength, simple breathing and relaxation to help people move with more confidence, whatever their age, ability or starting point.
I’m Natasha Whelan, a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, yoga teacher, Yoga Nidra teacher and Therapeutic Art Practitioner. I’ve practised yoga for over 30 years and have been teaching yoga and movement for more than 20 years.
My teaching is practical and adaptable, combining yoga with movement, strength work, simple breathing practices, relaxation and Yoga Nidra. I work with people experiencing pain, hypermobility, stress, fatigue, long-term health conditions and the changes that come with menopause and ageing.
My approach is not about flexibility or perfect poses. I’m interested in helping people understand their bodies, build strength and confidence, and find movement and rest practices that are useful in everyday life.
My training includes yoga therapy, women’s health, resistance stretching, anatomy, Yoga Nidra, breathing and therapeutic movement, alongside an Advanced BTEC in Nutrition and Health.
