Bio
Nicole Bratt (C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, CPT-NASM) is a Seattle-based yoga therapist and teacher whose work centers on slowing down, nervous-system regulation, and compassionate self-awareness. Her path to yoga began not as a calling, but as a personal turning point: after years of stress and anxiety, a weekly Restorative Yoga practice profoundly shifted her well-being and ultimately changed the trajectory of her life.
Nicole began teaching in 2013 and has since completed 1,900+ hours of formal training and 3,100+ hours of teaching to date. After moving to Seattle in 2016, she began working one-on-one with private clients and discovered how transformative individualized support could be. That experience led her to pursue an additional 3.5-year yoga therapy training and to dedicate her work to therapeutic, trauma-informed, and adaptive practices.
Her teaching is influenced by the Iyengar, Hatha, Restorative, and Viniyoga traditions, as well as somatic and therapeutic modalities including mindfulness, personal training, physical therapy principles, and Feldenkrais. Nicole believes the vast yoga “toolbox” offers something for every body and emphasizes cultivating curiosity, self-trust, and rest as foundations for sustainable change.
She works most often with adults 55+, perimenopausal and menopausal women, and individuals living with chronic or terminal illness. In both private and group settings, Nicole creates grounded, compassionate spaces where students are encouraged to listen inward and recognize themselves as the true experts of their own bodies.
