Patrick Franco
New York, NY, US

Playful, precise Vinyasa and Hatha teacher based in NYC, bringing classic yoga philosophy into modern life, one well-aligned breath at a time.

Patrick Franco, CIYT, E-RYT 500, L.Ac., is the Yoga Director at YogaRenew, where he guides the school's yoga programming and teacher education, and hosts the YogaRenew Podcast. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, his work is rooted in the Iyengar method: precise alignment, clear sequencing, and steady, step-by-step practice that builds strength, stability, and awareness for life. He also draws on western anatomy and functional movement.

Patrick trained at Laughing Lotus NYC (200hr) and Yogamaya NYC (300hr), then spent years studying at the Iyengar Institute of New York, where he became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.

Alongside yoga, Patrick is a licensed acupuncturist in New York State, having studied at Pacific College in New York. Both practices share the same root for him: careful observation, attention to the whole person, and helping people feel more at home in their bodies.

He teaches in NYC and Hoboken and leads retreats. His classes are grounded, clear, and a little playful. Expect real cues, smart sequencing, and a practice you can carry off the mat into the rest of your life.
