Paula is a mind-body educator dedicated to sharing Yoga Therapy with anyone wishing to increase their well-being. She also teaches Gentle Yoga and Chair Assisted Yoga classes in-person and on Zoom. She has invested more than 1355 hours in formal training and much more in continuing education courses. Additionally, she has more than 50 years experience practicing yoga in various styles from numerous teachers. Because knowledge is never complete, she pursues educational opportunities whenever possible, especially in yoga philosophy and neuroscience.
Her passion is teaching slow paced, breath-centric, mindful movement that soothes the nervous system and promotes resilience. The pauses during yoga class allows her students to listen within to their body and mind. Educating clients on their body’s pain response can help them accept what is happening in their body-mind and Yoga Therapy techniques can help them reduce their reaction to pain signaling especially in chronic pain.
