Rodney Yee is a renowned American yoga instructor, actor, and former ballet dancer, known for popularizing yoga in the mainstream through his appearances on television and his extensive library of yoga videos. Born in Oklahoma in 1957, he studied philosophy and physical therapy at UC Berkeley before an extensive career as a dancer with the Oakland Ballet and Matsuyama Ballet. He became a leading yoga teacher, co-founding Piedmont Yoga Studio and co-developing the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program with his wife, Colleen Saidman Yee.
