I am a busy mom of 3 kids (in 3 different schools this year plus 2 are in travel / club sports), self described as an afternoon Kid-Uber driver every weekday from 3-8 pm. I'm married to my college sweetheart and also work for him in his family construction business. My hobbies include cooking, traveling with friends, going to concerts, attending my kids’ sporting events & my newest hobby is Mahjong!

I found yoga later in life, during my first pregnancy but didn't fall in love with it until years later when I NEEDED it in the years following COVID. Over the years I had attended many classes, studios with many teachers and it wasn't until I found a studio and community of teachers and students who were my "vibe" that it clicked and then yoga became my passion. I was flirting with the idea of becoming a teacher when I attended an amazing yoga retreat in Costa Rica in late 2023 that solidified my decision. I became certified RYT200 through Yoga Alliance in February of 2024 and began teaching right away.

My passion for my personal practice and teaching is (Detroit style) Vinyasa but I also teach Slow / Guided Flow classes as well. I'm a big believer in the power of your breath and meditation as your guide to your practice. My teaching style is spiritual, theme based and I am deeply passionate about music as a guide. I also prioritize the mantra of meeting yourself where you are, in each moment, each breath, each class, every day.

So much of my life I’ve been taking care of others, yoga has helped me learn to prioritize taking care of myself too, which in turn helps me be a more centered, patient and loving caregiver to others. Self care is not an expense, it is an investment! I am so thankful for the experiences and relationships that yoga has brought into my life and I look forward to bringing my passion for yoga to those that I meet along my journey.
