Designed for yoga students and existing yoga teachers who wish to learn the incredibly healing practice of Restorative yoga along with how to incorporate powerful healing assists and guided relaxation meditations within a class.

What to expect

  • Day 1:

    • Opening Meditation

    • An introduction to restorative yoga

    • Lecture on the role of the nervous system, restorative yoga shapes, props, benefits

      •  Floor shapes, chair shapes, poses with blocks, wall poses.

    • Practice sessions

    • Closing guided restorative practice

  • Day 2:

    • Opening Meditation

    • Lecture on implementing healing assists during a restorative yoga class

    • Learn meditation techniques, the use of music and supplementary tools for a class

    • Practice session

    • Group discussion

    • Closing guided restorative practice

More information

Students who hold an existing 200 Hour Yoga certification will be able to teach restorative yoga upon completing the two day training.

Students who are not yet 200 HR CYT (certified yoga teacher) are welcome to join the training to deepen their own practice and knowledge of Restorative Yoga.
