Joint Care & Conscious Rest: A Yin and Restorative Yoga Retreat

Yin and Restorative Yoga Retreat with Tara Lemerise and Machelle Lee

Who this is for

Escape the routine to the picturesque mountain greenery of Pennsylvania for a profoundly restful and rejuvenating weekend of Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and wonderful community.

Benefits

The combination Yin and Restorative Yoga led by these expert teachers on this retreat will leave you feeling supported, cared for, and deeply rested.

What to expect

Machelle will guide you through Yin Yoga practices designed for the support of the joints, ligaments, and fascia of the low back, spine, shoulders, hips, sacrum and knees. She will explain the benefits of the practice, read meditative texts for your contemplation, and offer you myths and stories as you practice.

In Tara's Restorative Yoga sessions, you will be guided through the skillful arrangement of props in completely passive poses. Instead of asking your body and mind to do more, Tara's sessions of Restorative Yoga will quiet your nervous system and your mind, allowing you to release deeply held tension and positioning you to receive.
