The Seeker’s Journey

The Seeker’s Journey

Overcoming Fear and Doubt to Achieve Life’s Purpose

Who this is for

Seekers on the spiritual path.

Benefits

This retreat offers a structured exploration of the seeker’s journey through study, practice, reflection, and shared inquiry (sangha). Drawing from the Yoga Sutra, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Vasishtha, we will examine how classical teachings on yoga and meditation illuminate the inner landscape of practice—on and off the mat—while also providing practical guidance for navigating its challenges and inviting us to recognize a life of deeper fulfillment, freedom, and purposeful engagement.

What to expect

Key Highlights
  • Explore what it means to live as a seeker, balancing inner aspiration with the realities and responsibilities of daily life.

  • Engage in daily practice of Vishoka Meditation, together with breath-centered awareness, movement, pranayama, and relaxation practices.

  • Explore the framework of Kriya Yoga—tapas, svadhyaya, and Ishvara Pranidhana—as a practical orientation for practice and reflection throughout the retreat.

  • Study and reflect on foundational teachings from the Yoga Sutra, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Vasishtha as living guides for the seeker’s path.

  • Experience the sustaining role of sangha (community) in supporting practice through periods of challenge, doubt, and inspiration.

  • Integrate practical tools for bringing these teachings into daily life, supporting a more grounded, steady, and purposeful way of living beyond the retreat.
