Yin & Yang: A Saturday Afternoon Retreat
Train hard, then slow down.
Who this is for
Anyone wanting to take an afternoon for yourself - no experience necessary, but curiosity about steel mace vinyasa, yin and soundbath modalities is a bonus!
Benefits
Learn to yield a mace, then soften into yin yoga postures, ending with a long savasana (including nidra and soundbath).
What to expect
This special collaboration brings together complementary practices to support the nervous system. First, Shelly Ley will guide you through a dynamic Steel Mace Vinyasa session that blends functional strength, yoga flow, and HIIT with the ancient steel mace*. Through rotational, primal movement patterns, you’ll build resilient shoulders, a strong core, stable hips, and embodied power - challenging your edge while staying connected to breath and intention.
Then, Cascade Lineback will lead you into the receptive part of the practice: a grounding yin yoga journey designed for decompensation and true down regulation. Long-held postures, mindful breathing and meditation will invite your body to soften and integrate. A mini sound bath and yoga nidra will gently seal the experience, leaving you restored, balanced and deeply aligned.
Strength. Stillness. Sweat. Surrender. One complete practice.
