Deepening Your Practice: Feet, Legs & Balance
Build your practice from the ground up.
Who this is for
This workshop is designed for yoga students of all experience levels who want to develop greater awareness, strength and stability in their feet, legs and hips. It is especially supportive for students who want to feel more confident in standing and balancing poses, better understand whole-body alignment or learn accessible ways to use props and modifications. No prior yoga experience is required.
Benefits
Students will develop greater awareness, mobility and strength in the feet, ankles, legs and hips while learning how these areas influence whole-body alignment. Mindful movement and supported balance work will build steadiness and confidence in standing poses. Students will also learn to use walls, blocks and other supports to adapt poses to their individual bodies and practice with greater stability, ease and awareness.
