Purpose

Chakra Flow University guides yoga teachers beyond technique, offering the tools and embodied wisdom to evolve their practice, refine their teaching, and fully live yoga as a way of life—awakening authentic leadership and holistic living.

What to expect

Participants can expect an immersive and experiential training that blends ancient wisdom with modern application. The program combines in-depth study of yogic sciences, practice labs, teaching methodology, group discussions, and mentorship. Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, is woven throughout the training, offering practical lifestyle tools that bring balance, healing, and harmony into daily life. Transformation is inevitable—through this journey, layers of self-development unfold, inner wisdom is revealed, and teachers reconnect with their authentic voice and purpose. Graduates will walk away with practical tools, creative sequencing skills, and a renewed sense of inspiration to share yoga in ways that are accessible, authentic, and transformative.

Style/Lineage

Chakra Flow Yoga is rooted in Vinyasa Krama—an energizing, fluid flow that incorporates mantra, mudra, pranayama, and storytelling to create yogic experiences that extend far beyond a traditional “class.” This style honors the intelligence of sequencing while embracing creativity and heart-centered expression. Our lineage begins with Sri T. Krishnamacharya, carried forward by his student Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and later refined through the teachings of Sharon Gannon and David Life of Jivamukti Yoga. This path has been further shaped and enlivened by the soulful guidance of my personal teacher Dana Trixie Flynn, whose influence inspires a devotional, community-centered approach to practice. At Chakra Flow University, this lineage is expanded through the integration of Ayurveda, Tantra, and Bhakti Yoga—three timeless pillars that awaken vitality, deepen spiritual connection, and root practice in devotion. This multidimensional approach allows students to experience yoga as a sacred way of life—one that nourishes, transforms, and elevates.
