Purpose
In addition to teaching preparedness, trainees develop self-awareness, confidence, and resilience, strengthening both body and mind while deepening their personal practice and embodied understanding of yoga.
What to expect
One of the biggest challenges when committing to a 200-hour Teacher Training program is finding the time. While many online programs exist, the real question is: will you feel fully prepared to teach yoga by the end? Most students who choose my program are looking for an interactive, in-person experience. That’s why our hybrid training offers the best of both worlds. You’ll progress through engaging online materials at your own pace, while also receiving personalized in-person guidance, live virtual support, and the opportunity for collaboration with a supportive community. Plus, you’ll gain hands-on teaching experience during our 5-day, 50-hour in-person intensive, held twice a year in the breathtaking Texas Hill Country—once in the spring and once in the fall.
The in-person training takes place at the Nectar Flow Yoga Studio in Spicewood, Texas, providing a dedicated and comfortable space for learning and practice. Various props and equipment are available to enhance the training experience. If you are local to the area, you can commute in for the in-person intensive. If you are traveling from out of town we will provide support in booking affordable and comfortable lodging nearby.
Style/Lineage
Trainees will become proficient in teaching the three Nectar Flow Yoga Flow Sequences: Empowered Flow, Everybody Flow, and our Gentle/Yin Sequence. These are dynamic and adaptable sequences influenced by various yoga traditions, including Ashtanga, Rocket, and Power Yoga, as well as elements of Viniyoga, Yin, Restorative, and Adaptive Yoga. These sequences serve as a flexible framework for creating safe and inclusive yoga classes and will prepare you to teach a variety of students, making you a more “marketable” teacher.
