This 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand is a transformative 21-day journey, weaving together classical Hatha Yoga and the rich traditions of Tantra, Goddess worship, and non-dual Vajrayana Buddhism. Throughout this immersive experience, you’ll elevate your teaching abilities and personal life. You’ll dive deeply into experiential asana practice, meditation, and pranayama, experiencing them as integrated, holistic, and somatic disciplines.

Led by Krystalyn and Chris Norton, this 300-hour yoga teacher training will guide each individual through a process of self-transformation, healing, deep embodiment, and personal growth, working with the framework of classical Hatha Yoga, Buddhism, and Tantra philosophies.

To support the philosophical approach in this training, you will expand your understanding of safe and effective teaching by learning more about the energetics in asana and assisting and how prana and bandhas work to fortify one’s practice.

In addition, this training offers an introduction yoga nidra, the sacred “yogic sleep”. Furthermore, the yogic context will be expanded, incorporating the wisdom teachings from (neo-)shamanism, bringing in the sacred wisdom of the elements, the sacred art of ceremony and chanting.

  • Construct a short cueing script for a chosen pose, formulating language that applies at least four of the empowered cueing principles.
  • Develop a personal protocol for offering hands-on assists, formulating steps that address permission, foundation, and type of touch.
  • Design a complete practice structure around one pose category, formulating a peak pose, preparation poses, counter poses, and a closing theme.
  • Construct a complete dharma talk on a chosen theme, formulating an orientation, teaching, and closing that connect to students' lived experience.
Lifestyle & Ethics
  • Evaluate a personal habit against a chosen ethical framework, assessing where the habit falls short and where it aligns.
  • Develop a personal code of professional conduct, formulating specific commitments across honesty, boundaries, and safe space creation.
  • Evaluate a personal history of practice motivation, assessing which ineffective motive has been most present and why.
Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics
  • Evaluate a described practice for which layer of the pancamaya model it most directly addresses, justifying the choice with specific reasoning.
  • Develop a themed practice built around a chakra and its associated prana vayu, formulating breath and movement choices that reflect both.
  • Evaluate a proposed pose modification for its effect on a specific joint, justifying whether it respects that joint's natural range of motion.
  • Design a short sequence that trains a specific muscle action pattern, formulating pose choices that build strength or awareness in that pattern.
  • Develop a sequence aimed at supporting spinal health for a student with a described postural pattern, formulating pose choices that address the specific imbalance.
  • Assess a facilitated stretching technique for proper sequencing, evaluating whether the contract-relax steps are being applied correctly.
Practice Skills
  • Develop a short restorative sequence for releasing a specific area of the body, formulating pose choices and prop setups suited to that intention.
  • Develop a personal pranayama and bandha sequence, formulating an order that moves safely from gentler to more advanced techniques.
  • Develop a personal tantric meditation practice, formulating a structure that welcomes the whole of present experience without judgment.
  • Develop a personal mantra and medicine song routine, formulating a structure suited to a stated spiritual intention.
Yoga History & Theory
  • Evaluate a described practice for whether it risks cultural appropriation, assessing the reasoning behind that concern.
