Purpose

Purpose in Motion supports yoga teachers and practitioners in deepening self-trust, clarity, and embodied awareness through movement-based inquiry, integrating yoga philosophy into lived experience on and off the mat.

What to expect

Participants can expect a highly experiential learning environment that blends embodied movement practice, self-inquiry, and philosophical reflection.

The program includes guided movement sessions centered on embodied motion principles, designed to cultivate awareness, regulation, and intentional action. These practices invite participants to explore how movement reflects internal patterns and how conscious motion can support clarity and integration.

Yoga philosophy is woven throughout the experience and explored through lived application rather than academic study. Participants work with themes such as perception, habit patterns, resistance, discipline, and discernment, observing how these show up in the body, in practice, and in daily life.

The training also includes reflective practices, facilitated discussion, and integration sessions that support participants in applying insights beyond the mat. Rather than practice teaching, the focus is on personal embodiment, deepening presence, confidence, and clarity in a way that naturally informs teaching, leadership, and life choices.

The experience unfolds through a combination of immersive in-person sessions and guided integration over time, creating space for meaningful reflection and sustained transformation.

Style/Lineage

Purpose inMotion is an integrative, modern vinyasa yoga program grounded in embodied practice, self-study (svādhyāya), and practical application of yoga in daily life. The program is rooted in vinyasa yoga principles that descend from the Krishnamacharya tradition, while being taught through a contemporary, non-dogmatic lens.

My primary formal training is in Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, which provides a strong foundation in breath-led movement, intelligent sequencing, and disciplined physical practice. Over time, my teaching has evolved beyond a single branded method through extensive self-study, lived experience, and continued learning with a wide range of teachers, workshops, and modalities.

Rather than replicating a fixed sequence or style, the program supports students in developing discernment, confidence, and an authentic relationship to the practice. The lineage honored here is one of modern yoga evolution, personal responsibility, and integrity, where tradition informs the work, but lived truth leads it.

This program is designed for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners who have completed a foundational training (200-hour YTT or equivalent experience).
