Christina Shipman is more than a yoga teacher—she is a soul guide, movement healer, and community space holder devoted to creating sacred experiences that heal the body, open the heart, and awaken the inner child. Rooted in over 15 years of experience in the healing arts, Christina blends yoga, somatic movement, drumming, dance, journaling, breathwork, and ritual to support deep transformation for both children and adults.
She holds a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, with specialties in Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Kidding Around Yoga, and Imagination Yoga, and is credentialed by the American Yoga Council (AYC) for her excellence in Kids & Family Yoga, Trauma-Informed Practices, and Community Wellness Facilitation.
A lifelong Reiki practitioner since 2008 and a certified Wellness Life Coach, Christina’s sessions are infused with intuitive energy work, story-sharing, and circle-based connection. Her background includes Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Child Development Associate (CDA) training, and she has extensive experience working with IDD clients, making her offerings both accessible and inclusive.
Through her practice, Soul Journey Guidance, Christina creates spaces that go beyond yoga mats—spaces where joy is medicine, where movement meets meaning, and where every session is a journey of reconnection. Whether guiding a class of wiggly kids or holding a deep healing circle for women and parents, Christina’s work is always centered in love, presence, and soul.
