Flow Into Alignment

Alignment focused Ashtanga style, with a bit of Yin, Christian yoga teacher. Dedicated to helping beginner and intermediate students develop proper alignment and technique for a safe, sustainable practice and life off the mat.

Joslyn’s relationship with movement, alignment, and the human body began long before she stepped onto a yoga mat. Trained in classical ballet from age thirteen through the Royal Academy of Dance USA, she graduated with High Honors and went on to perform professionally with Ballet Magnificat! in Jackson, Mississippi.
For over fifteen years, she taught classical ballet and pointe across Florida and Tennessee, building a deep foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, and intentional movement.
Joslyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Physical Education from East Tennessee State University, and completed her Phase I and Phase II Yoga Instructor Certifications through AAAI/ISMA in 2021.
Since then, she has taught group and private yoga classes at the Rose Center, Morristown Landing, and through her own private practice, accumulating the equivalent of 500 hours of yoga teacher training.
Her teaching is rooted in alignment and technique, drawing from an Ashtanga-based approach while incorporating the restorative depth of Yin. She specializes in guiding beginner and intermediate students toward a safe, sustainable practice.
Joslyn also teaches Christian yoga, integrating the physical and meditative disciplines of yoga with Christian faith, a calling she hopes to expand through future teacher training programs.
Yoga, she says, gave her what ballet never could: compassion for herself, and a unified connection of mind, body, and spirit.
