Bio
After taking her fledgling yoga classes at Penn State, Megan experienced her first fully realized yoga class in New York City when a friend dragged her there kicking and screaming. From that first "real" class where she refused to "OM", things have changed a lot. Inspired by her beloved studios back in NYC like Prema Yoga Brooklyn and the Kula Yoga Project, as well as her myofascial and lymphatic massage therapy, structural integration work and continued learning in Mahayana Buddhism, Megan's classes are creative, explorative, and have the constant presence of breath, self-awareness and music. She is currently in residency at the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine for her DAcCHM (Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine).
Megan is the owner of One Point One's two Pittsburgh studios on Penn and Butler, and the lead trainer for their RYT 200 and 300 hour trainings as well as their IAYT certified Yoga Therapy training to certify new yoga therapists. You can find her in studio in Pittsburgh, leading a One Point One retreat (join her in Menorca or Ojai next year), or in the virtual studio for classes through Union.
