Bio
I’m Audrey Ryder, a multi-unit yoga studio owner, movement educator, and lifelong athlete. Along with my wife, Toni King, we own and operate seven YogaSix studios in California, Nevada, and Colorado, run a private training and corporate wellness business, and serve on the Steering Committee/Board of the International Association of Yoga Franchisees (IAYF). While my work today involves leadership, systems, and scaling businesses, at its core it is still deeply personal: helping people feel at home and empowered in their bodies.
My background includes high-level athletics as a former member of the United States Rowing Team, competing in the FINA World Masters Diving Championships, and serving as a pace swimmer for an English Channel Crossing. I’ve been swimming for over 25 years and teaching swimming for 15 years, and as I've added the practice of yoga and teaching yoga to my path, I continue to learn patience, humility, and trust.
Over the course of my career, I’ve taught more than 25,000 private and group sessions across yoga, swimming, strength training, and breath-based modalities. My passion is guiding people—especially those for whom movement has felt awkward, intimidating, or unsafe—back into a relationship with their bodies that feels respectful, empowering, and sustainable.
As both a teacher and a business owner, I believe the future of yoga and wellness lies in meeting people exactly where they are, honoring real bodies and real lives, and creating spaces—on the mat and in organizations—where growth is possible without pressure or perfection.
